While on my way back home from school I spotted an american car at a gas station (obviously).
It was definetely from the late 1950s, as it featured a fairly angular shape with tailfins and a period correct pastel color two tone paintjob. It had four doors and although it was pretty far away the the lighting allowed me to spot five letters on the bootlid.
Question to you, what is the car that I have seen just 20 minutes ago?
EDIT: Most likely candidate atm would be a ‘57 or ‘58 Dodge.

Any car made from 1955-1959.

Four doors.
Five letters on the bootlid.
I think this limits the list of possible suspects already.

But american cars are usually seen filling up at gas stations.
